Workshop Description: This is not a topping workshop, and is not a workshop on power play and D/s. This workshop is about playing with sadism (within the context of a safe, sane, consensual dynamic), with rope and other forms of play. We will be exploring elements such as different kinds of pain, what is masochism and are there different kinds of masochism, how to play without safe words (should you play without them?), how to safely take someone to the edge (and how to get taken there), playing with endorphins versus adrenalin, playing with fear and navigating elements of ‘consensual non-consent’. This is Fred Hatt’s personal take on sadism, a topic he feels especially connected to.
