Who can come to this class? Are there pre-requisites?

This class has pre-requisites for riggers and rope bottoms/models – please make sure you meet these before booking to avoid disappointment on the day:

• Completion of Course 3 gives both riggers and models the necessary pre-requisites for this course.
• Riggers must be able to tie a structural 3 rope Takate Kote in under 10 minutes and be comfortable with suspensions & basic transitions.
• Pairs must tie with 6mm jute ropes, preferably single ply.
Riggers and models must know how to check for nerve impingement.
• Riggers and models must have tied together prior to this class.
• Rope bottoms should be able to be tied in a Takate Kote and be very familiar with the differences between nerve and circulation impingement. Models must be able to recognise and communicate signs of nerve impingement to riggers effectively and timely. Models should be able to process pain and take some enjoyment in intense sensations.

What should I bring and what do I wear? We have a communal kitchenette, fridge and microwave, so feel free to bring lunch/snacks. Tea and coffee are free. People usually wear comfortable clothing like yoga or dance attire. We advise against loose fitting clothing and also jeans can sometimes feel a bit restrictive to move around in and difficult to tie on. We have communal ropes if you don’t have your own.

Please bring a set of at least 12 ropes (5-6 mm, 7-7,50 mt).

When does it take place? This is workshop takes place October 5-6-7 2018: Friday, Saturday and Sunday (1-7pm).

Who teaches this class? This workshop is taught by guest presenters Riccardo Wildties and Red Sabbath

Riccardo Wildties is an Italian rigger and rope artist. He was first introduced to BDSM 10 years ago and shortly after discovered Japanese rope bondage. For the first few years of his study, Wildties was primarily self-taught and pulled inspiration from many top Japanese and Western riggers, without focusing on one specific style. With his partner Red Sabbath he immersed himself in the art and became one of the most sought out European rope educators and performers.

At the end of 2012, seduced and inspired by the work of Akira Naka, he started to explore a new style based on the use of ropes as a mean of aesthetic erotic torture. He devoted himself totally to Semenawa, focusing his bondage on a very traditional Japanese style.

In 2013 he finally met Akira Naka in Moscow. They felt an immediate connection both on a professional and personal level, and he decided to focus his work entirely on the style of the master.

In August 2014 he had the honor to be invited to perform as main event at Naka Nawakai, Naka Akira’s private session series. It was the first time that someone else than Naka San himself was main event at Naka Nawakai.

In 2015 he officially became Naka Akira’s Deshi and had the privilege to tie in a duo session with his Sensei in Tokyo. Naka Akira has acknowledged that though Wildties is his student, that his unique form of bondage is a particular “latin” interpretation which proves to be much more suitable for Western students and models.

Wildties regularly performs all of Europe and holds workshops and classes.
