Discover Shibari – Foundational Course

This is a 4 part foundation series that will take you from complete beginner to proficient in full suspensions and transitions in the air. The courses take place on weekends and go from 1 to 7pm.

This is the first course in our foundational course series. From its origins and history, to human anatomy and body mechanics, to learning the ABC’s of rope handling and flow, this class is designed to get your creative juices flowing and inspire you body, mind and soul.

In this course we go further into the body and soul of Shibari. Here we explore all the freedom and restriction of floor work, including elements of play such as wax, impact, predicaments, playing with movement and headspace, and of course lots of harnesses.

In this course we delve into partial suspensions. This is a playful and gentle step towards full suspensions and transitions which we cover in course 4. This course is ideal to build confidence and understand all the building blocks that make suspensions safe and pleasurable.

In this fourth course we go into full suspensions and dynamic transition techniques. We will share all the tips and tricks we have learned over the years to make suspension rope safe and playful so you can feel fully confident with the edgier and more advanced elements of rope bondage.
